Take to the Seas are a four-piece indie rock band, formed in Sheffield. Their first offering, the “It’s Science EP” was very well received in press and received airplay on BBC 6 music. They have played their songs in all the best beer halls and massage parlours that the Steel City has to offer. They have just released their debut album “Make Your Bones” on Favourite Tree Records, holding the launch night at Plug in Sheffield on the 4th November. They have played a large number of shows supporting bands including Pulled Apart By Horses, Lights Action, General Fiasco and Viva Brother.

Sam Olley (guitar/vocals)
Joe O’Brien (bass)
Ben Hardie (drums)

Joe used to play with Pocket Satellite, Ben plays with Say Things Twice, and Matt previously played with Hey! Robot!.
